The production crew behind The Blue Planet for BBC has reunited to bring us another exceptional documentary called A Beautiful Planet. Spanning from the Southern Pole to the Northern one, from the equatorial region to the tundra, from African savannahs to tropical rainforests, then ascending to bare mountain tops and diving into depths of seas, myriad species showcase their magnificent forms. We observed the cycle of Okavango floodwaters alongside the living situations of animals dependent upon them; rare scenes depicted snow leopards pursuing prey during heavy snowfalls; we watched the challenging cohabitation of penguins, polar bears, seals, and others on icy lands; and remarkable life forms were found flourishing around hot underwater volcanic vents.
