The BBC will air"Return to Paradise," an Australian-set spin-off of the highly-rated British TV series"Paradise Island Mystery." This six-episode miniseries is set to debut next year and is being produced jointly by BBC Studios Productions Australia and Red Planet Pictures for ABC and in collaboration with the BBC. Mackenzie Clark, an expatriate from Australia who was once hailed as a star detective at Scotland Yard due to her intuitive skills in solving seemingly unsolvable crimes, finds herself forced back into her childhood home—Dolphin Bay—a beautiful seaside paradise but also a place she associates with some of her darkest memories. Six years ago, whenever possible, she fled this town and vowed never to return again, leaving many unresolved matters behind.
